Tricia Cameron-Anglin is a distinguished legal and administrative professional with a profound impact on the Jamaican legal landscape. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Maters in Communication Studies, along with a Bachelor of Laws, and was called to the Bar in Jamaica in 2012. As a certified Balanced Scorecard Professional and the first Chief Executive Officer for the Court Administration Division in the Judiciary of Jamaica, she is renowned for her transformative leadership and unwavering commitment to modernizing the nation’s judicial system.

Working alongside the Chief Justice, Ms. Cameron-Anglin’s tenure has been marked by a series of groundbreaking achievements. As a Communications Specialist, she was instrumental in introducing the Judiciary of Jamaica’s Medica Policy, significantly enhancing transparency and public engagement. She spearheaded the introduction of the Judiciary’s first Strategic Business Plan, a pivotal initiative that laid the groundwork for long-term operational excellence and accountability.

A testament to her exceptional leadership in human resource development, Tricia Cameron-Anglin successfully led the comprehensive review and restructuring of posts within the Judiciary of Jamaica. This monumental undertaking resulted in a significant expansion of the court staff workforce, growing from 1000 to 1800 employees, thereby bolstering the administrative capacity of the courts.

Her dedication to fostering public engagement and transparency within the legal system is evident in her successful implementation of Judiciary Day, an initiative that strengthens the bond between the courts and the communities they serve. Furthermore, her administrative leadership and steadfast support were instrumental in achieving a remarkable milestone: the Parish Courts in Jamaica became backlog-free, a testament to her effective management and optimization of court processes.

Demonstrating her commitment to operational efficiency and infrastructure, Mrs. Cameron-Anglin instituted a nationwide Court Maintenance Day, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of judicial facilities across the island. Her extensive oversight of the Judiciary’s budget has been critical in facilitating these improvements, including the renovation of courthouses across the island, significantly enhancing the working environment for judicial staff and the public.

Perhaps one of her most impactful achievements was pioneering the introduction of remote hearings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under her guidance, the Judiciary of Jamaica not only embraced this technological shift but also meticulously implementing comprehensive remote hearing guidelines, ensuring continued access to justice during unprecedented times.

Beyond her work with the Judiciary, she is also an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Management Institute for National Development, where she lectures on Business Communication and Records and Information Management.
